Michael Failla has been creating Raku fine art for 40 years. He has been drawn to it by the earthy feeling one gets while working with the natural elements and the endless possibilities in the shape and form allow for great creativity. The work is influenced by ancient ceramics, and Persian tapestries. Aztec and mystical spirit can be seen in much of the Raku work.
The functional work is a way to enhance our everyday experiences.
